Let's get the signs

"Keep Our City Open" campaign in Bakersfield with signs, billboards and online resources. Why can't Delano do the same?

Surely, Delano can learn from our neighboring city Bakersfield. The city launched an aggressive educational campaign in covid-19 education that are eye-catching and not so bothersome compared to the radio and television ads, or instant messaging, on Facebook, practically anywhere, and quite honestly; we are getting too much of it.

The simplicity of the banners throughout the city works well and eye-catching. I was totally impressed by the delivery of the simple message but a great reminder to do our part. The City Council is considering an educational campaign that was proposed by Veronica Vasquez in the recent city council meetings of the proposed budget amount of $47,000+-. City community leadership scrambles to find solutions to spending the covid-19 funding in the city via community outreach, meetings, flyers, banners, and other educational ideas was brought forth on a Friday evening via Microsoft Teams Meetings.

There were a lot of ideas, good ideas to use the funding wisely. This is one avenue of approach the city can do. For their consideration.
